Parenting a child with ADHD is a journey full of ups and downs, but finding the right tools and resources can make all the difference. As a mum to Lucía, I’ve spent countless hours researching ADHD UK planners, calming tools, and vitamins that can help her thrive. I’ve discovered a few gems that truly make a difference, and I want to share them with you in case they can help your family too.
1. HappySelf Journal for Reflection and Emotional Growth

Every evening, we talk about the top three things she loved about her day and choose an emoji to represent her mood. The Calm Carry stimulates the PC8 acupressure point in the hand, releasing endorphins that help reduce anxiety and insomnia, while enhancing her mood. This has made a huge difference in Lucía’s ability to calm down at night, especially when her mind is overstimulated.
4. Loop Earplugs for Managing Noise Sensitivity
Lucía is particularly sensitive to noise, whether it’s at school or when we’re out in busy places. To help her manage overstimulation, we recently started using Loop Earplugs.
